This page will not only contain many of my musical memories, but I will update it time-to-time with past and
present "musical notes."

* A musical memory
Back in the middle 70s, I had the pleasure of playing music with two of my best friends and co-workers: Jim and
Mike Sebol. We went by many different band names for a while, but were finally to become known as "Effigy." (A song title
by C.C.R.). We were a perfect match as musicians because we all shared the same taste and interest in music. We also
shared many interesting, but not so tasteful gigs. Like the time when we were playing for a 'biker' wedding,
and a group of rival bikers crashed the party. That was the first time that I had ever seen a Bride "literally"
punched-out by the "punch-bowl." Yeah! Then there was the time when we played for a Legion Hall, and was to get paid by "passing-the-hat."
Well! What happened was, someone put a sign that said "KITTY" in a bucket that was out in front of us. Needless to say,
yeah, no cash! (Okay, there were a couple of dimes and pennies.) But here's the clincher! At the end of the night while
we were packing up, we heard two old farts saying, "That damn KITTY band was terrible!" Anyway, I wouldn't trade
those memories for anything. Although, God bless his soul, Mike has passed away. But, I still keep in contact with Jim.
